Fans of Mega Star, fans of Power Star, Telugu audiences in general and the film trade circles have kept high hopes on the success of this movie.
To suit the craze, there was a huge demand for the audio of the film. Almost Rs 1 crore is being offered for the audio rights of the movie and several audio companies are vying with each other to bag the offer.
Chances are high over the increase of this offer price in the near future. After all, this is the film from a Mega Star's clan and there is no surprise for the demand.

The audio of 'Chirutha' directed by versatile director Puri Jagannath, who rewrote the Box Office history of the Telugu cinema with his film 'Pokiri', and produced by C Aswanidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies with the debut appearance of Ram Charan Tej, son of Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi, as hero and Neha as heroine, hit the stands on August 22.
There was a massive and excellent response to the audio from the audiences.
The cassettes and CDs, which were released into the market in the first batch, were sold like hotcakes in minutes. The second batch of cassettes and CDs which reached the music shops were also sold out with in a few days.
With all the music shops displaying no stock boards, the music company released the third bunch immediately and they were also sold out totally.
This proves at what range the audiences get attracted towards the audio. If the audio itself evoked such a huge craze, it is impossible to estimate at what range the film would become a hit

Rs 8 crore offered for 'Chiruta' in Nizam area
IndiaGlitz [Friday, June 29, 2007]

It is a wonder in the Telugu film industry's history. It will definitely remain a record and history in the Telugu film history.
'Chiruta' directed by Puri Jagannath and produced by Chalasani Aswanidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies in which Ram Charan Teja, son of Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi, is making his debut is getting ready to create new records.
Already the audio companies had helped the film to create a record by offering Rs 1 crore for the audio of a novice's film. Generally the distribution and exhibition rights of the Nizam area would go for Rs 5 crores to Rs 7 crores for the top heroes. That was the top rate so far as per records.
However, it is reliably learnt that the same price for 'Chirutha' has gone up to Rs 8 crore as the distributors and producers are vying to bag the distribution rights.
This is yet another record in the Telugu film industry. If the film is creating records even before its release, what would be the range of this film after its release would be definitely a wonder. Isn't it?

IndiaGlitz [Tuesday, July 03, 2007]

One could imagine the high expectations on 'Chirutha' (the title is yet to be confirmed by the film unit), the debut film of Ram Charan Teja, son of Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi, directed by versatile director Puri Jagannath and produced by Chalasani Aswinidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies, with the audio rights were sold at Rs 1 crore.
The audio of the film is set for release on the birthday of Chiranjeevi, i.e., on August 22.
The film is likely to hit the screen on September 22. The speciality of the date is that Chiranjeevi's debut film 'Pranam Khareedu' was also released on the same day some 29 years ago.
Though it might be a co-incidence, it hints the birth of yet another Mega Star on Telugu screen.
